The bent tunnel is &#8220;forcibly demoulded&#8221;. While it is doing this, it must not break.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We recommend that you look at the elongation at break in the technical data sheet of the plastic under the mechanical properties, as well as the stress-strain diagram. <strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">The elongation at break must be at least 40% &#8211; better 50%.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nWe have already experienced that plastics with an elongation at break well below 10% were still flexible.<br \/>\nIf you are not sure if your plastic is flexible enough, please contact the technical support of the plastic manufacturer.<br \/>\nAn even better value would be the flexural modulus of the plastic. Unfortunately, the plastic manufacturers treat this value stepmotherly. You will hardly find any information &#8211; and if you do, then not in percent but<br \/>\nmostly only in MPa, Megapascal.
